Rich Divizio

Richard Divizio is a pioneering actor and martial artist renowned for his foundational contributions to the Mortal Kombat franchise. Born on September 6, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, Divizio's journey into the world of gaming began with his portrayal of the iconic character Kano in the original Mortal Kombat (1992). His involvement extended across several installments, including Mortal Kombat II (as Baraka), Mortal Kombat 3 (as Kano, Kabal, and Noob Saibot), and Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (as Quan Chi and Shang Tsung). Additionally, he contributed motion capture work to Mortal Kombat 4 and made a return in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002) as a motion capture actor .

Beyond his on-screen roles, Divizio is a trained martial artist, specializing in 7 Star Preying Mantis, Chinese Kung Fu, and Wushu. He holds a degree in computer graphic design from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, where he studied alongside Mortal Kombat co-creator John Tobias. Divizio's dedication to his craft and his contributions to the gaming industry have made him a respected figure among fans and peers alike.
