In 1984, he transitioned to freelance work, collaborating on projects like Time Killers, Demolition Man pinball, and Aeroboto. Beyond gaming, Niemeyer has lent his artistic talents to major film franchises, including Jurassic Park II, Men in Black, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, and Pirates of the Caribbean, creating promotional artwork that has become synonymous with these blockbuster films .
In addition to his work in gaming and film, Niemeyer has made significant contributions to the haunted attraction industry. In 2006, he founded ABYSS Haunted House, a top-rated attraction that captivated thrill-seekers until 2014.
