Katalin Rodriguez-Ogren, also known as Katalin Zamiar, is a multifaceted professional renowned for her contributions to martial arts, fitness, and the gaming industry. Born on August 12, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, she began her martial arts journey at the age of nine and has since achieved black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Goju-Ryu Karate, and Shorin-Ryu Karate. She holds a degree in anthropology from the University of Illinois and has taught undergraduate forensic science courses at the same institution. In the early 1990s, Katalin's martial arts expertise led her to portray iconic characters—Kitana, Mileena, and Jade—in the groundbreaking video game Mortal Kombat II, a role that has cemented her legacy in gaming history.
Beyond her acting career, Katalin is a respected fitness instructor and the owner of POW! Mixed Martial Arts and Chicago Krav Maga training centers in downtown Chicago.
