Charlie Kraslavsky was born in Tokyo, Japan on August 14th, 1968. He is well known for his portrayal of Chris Redfield in the live action sequence of Resident Evil / Biohazard in the United States, and was featured in numerous movies, tv shows and commercials in Japan, but got his big break as the star of the Japanese movie Maria 2. Charlie worked as an actor with the I.M.O. (Inagawa Motoko Office) agency from 1993 to 1996, when he took a break from the industry until briefly returning a few times in the 2000s & 2010s.

In May of 2022, Charlie reunited with fellow Resident Evil castmates Greg Smith (Barry Burton) and Eric Pirius (Albert Wesker) to film a teaser to a short film by Andrew Saullo and Black Ridge Media based on the Resident Evil character "the Keeper". The teaser has been well received by fans and crowd funding is in the works for the full length short film.
